| After more than three weeks of rest, the part is now perfectly dry,
as one can note it with the change of color. During this lapse of time, the internal walls were equalized and have a thickness
of approximately 1,5 cm. The phase of decoration can begin. |
The body is painted with an engobeengobe : mixture of clay and pigments of black color. A first layer passed. |

| A mixture of colors containing yellow sierra, yellow lemon-yellow, maroon and white is prepared, nearest possible to the color of gold. The interior of the ears, the arcades and the circumference of the eyes, then finally the ribbons are in their turn decorated. A first layer passed. |

| To finish, the eyes are painted in their turn with a mixture of black and brown chestnut. |

| Small yellow smudges are corrected with the black engobe. The piece is set to dry for a few days before the setting out in kiln for a first cooking of eleven hours with gradual rise in temperature until 1060 °. |
